Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
What is an IOP?
Mental Health IOPs are a higher level of mental healthcare than weekly individual therapy sessions and a lower level of care than residential treatment centers or inpatient hospitalization. Our IOP gives clients a structured schedule of therapy sessions and interventions and gives clients practical resources to improve their quality of life. Clients attend our Mental Health IOP while still living in their homes and often while continuing to work at their jobs. Our program offers individual therapy, group therapy, and case management provided by qualified, caring professionals.
Who is IOP for?
IOPs are for individuals who are experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of mental health disorders but who do not require the level of care provided by inpatient hospitalization. IOPs are also useful for folks who completed an inpatient program and who need support continuing their healing and maintaining their recovery.
The severity and chronicity of symptoms determine how long you need IOP services and which methods our therapists use. Most IOP clients plan to attend three group sessions and one individual session per week for 12-16 weeks. We use evidence-based treatment methods appropriate for all people over 18 and for a wide range of mental health struggles.
