About Tara M. Trebesch
Navigating life’s challenges can take an integrative approach. I am a second career, integrative mental health clinician. I have training in clinical mental health counseling, integrative health, neurofeedback, bilateral stimulation for reprocessing, and nutrition. I specialize in improving health outcomes through focus on epigenetic factors, such as the environmental, biological, psychological, and social stressors which create mental and physical dis-ease. My training has focused heavily on the integrative complexity inherent in brain/gut axis. I take a balanced approach to mental, physical, and spiritual health that incorporates both eastern and western practices.
At Red Willow Counseling, I specialize in anxiety, adjustment, attachment, relationships, internal parts, life transitions, career issues, financial issues, stress management, career or caretaker burnout, as well as medical trauma.
I also offer integrative protocols to improve gut health, reduce inflammation, and calm the nervous system. I focus specifically on neurofeedback training, nervous system stabilization, nutrition, performance optimization, sleep cycle enhancement, hormone balancing, fertility, as well as weight and stress management. I utilize the Othmer Method to provide neurofeedback for adults and children. I also hold certificates in both adult and pediatric nutrition science from Stanford University.
In my previous career, I worked as an entrepreneur and investor, skilled in corporate finance, asset management, and alternative investment strategies. I am a CFA Charterholder and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley – Walter A. Haas School of Business.
