About Mikayla Hall
My social work career began in 2019, volunteering with first generation immigrants and international nonprofit work. I then moved to working with adults with disabilities, varying from moderate to severe. I volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), and worked for Quality Youth Services (QYS) during my undergrad, both of which have given me experience of working with displaced youth in the state system. I also have experience in working with adults struggling with substance use in multiple environments. All of these different spheres have granted me a unique perspective and skills to form a nonjudgmental and empowering therapeutic environment. As a master’s level intern at Red Willow, I aim to meet with individuals, couples, and families in a therapeutic setting, while also working to begin an adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Whatever you are experiencing, you will have support. You will have a listening ear. You will have a space to set and achieve your goals. I believe that people are strong and capable, in spite of life’s adversities.
Outside of clinical work, I enjoy baking treats late at night, reading books of every genre, hiking, camping, and fishing up in the mountains, and spending time with people that I love.
