About Norah
The seeds of my career as a mental health professional were planted at a young age as I grew up in a household of psychologists and social workers. My passion for this type of work continued to grow at the University of Arkansas, where I received my bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies. As a lover of the outdoors, I became a Wilderness Therapy Field Guide at Second Nature Wilderness Family Therapy in Duchesne, UT. I then transitioned to providing direct mental health care at ROOTs Transition, a Residential Therapy Program for adolescent females. From there, I engaged in counseling in a school environment for elementary through high school, providing therapy and building mental health programs within the South Summit School District in Kamas, UT.
During this time, I have also had the pleasure of engaging in other passions such as working within refugee services, caregiving of elderly and neurodivergent individuals, and serving as a backpacking and camping guide. My personal hobbies include snowboarding/skiing, skateboarding, writing music, and filming videos!
I have experience with individuals presenting depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, grief, LGBTQ+ identity struggles, trauma, faith transitions, and the aging and dying process.I have also helped clients navigate their identity regarding adoption, life changes, faith transitions, and their gender and sexual orientation.
